Hi, I'm Katie. (Or Kate, as some affectionately call me). I'm a mom of three, wife, daughter, friend and child of God. If you ask any of these people about me they will say, "Katie is so organized!" (I've learned to become more appreciative of this compliment!)
When I was a young girl I would "play" at our neighbor's house. I wasn't ready to play until all the toys were tidy & in their place. Looking back, I spent more time organizing my friend’s toys than playing with them.
Throughout my life organizing came natural to me; it was fun! Being organized freed up emotional and physical “space”, resulting in more happiness and accomplishment. As I experienced many life transitions and moves, I would also adapt the systems I had established to keep my belongings, my time and my responsibilities in order.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. My experience includes being a Branch Manager of a leading industrial supply company where I established processes to manage inventory, track customer service levels and stay connected to my team. I also worked in marketing for 6 years before staying home full time with our kids. Most recently I utilized my organizational skills in children's ministry to coordinate church school and summer camp programming.
I’m known as trustworthy, patient, kind and, of course, organized. I’m excited to share my talent as a professional organizer to improve the quality of life for my clients. I want to help people establish organizational systems at home to make their lives easier, more enjoyable and less stressful. I will guide families to declutter in preparation for downsizing, relocation or a life transition for themselves or a loved one.
When I'm not organizing I enjoy hiking, camping, reading and going on family bike rides to get ice cream!
